Task Roulette Privacy Policy
Last updated September 15, 2026
The short version: Task Roulette doesn't collect, transmit, store remotely, sell, or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What the app stores
Task Roulette lets you build lists of tasks and spin a wheel to pick one at random. The names of your lists and tasks, and which one you have marked done, are saved using Android's on-device storage (Jetpack DataStore) in a private folder that only Task Roulette can read.
That's the only data the app handles. It never leaves your phone — not to us, not to any analytics service, not to any third party. Task Roulette has no server, and the app contains no networking code at all.
Permissions
Vibrate — used only to give a short haptic buzz when the wheel ticks past each slice and when it lands on a result. It has no access to any personal information and is not used for anything else.
Accounts
Task Roulette does not have real user accounts, sign-in, or authentication of any kind. The "Delete Account" option in the app's menu simply clears your locally stored lists and tasks from this device — there is nothing to delete anywhere else, because nothing is stored anywhere else.
Deleting your data
You're always in full control, without needing to contact anyone:
- Use Delete Account in the app's menu to clear all lists and tasks, or
- Uninstall the app, or clear its storage from Android Settings → Apps → Task Roulette → Storage.
Children's privacy
Because Task Roulette collects no data of any kind from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children or any other user.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that touches data in a new way — we'll update the date at the top of this page to reflect it.
